Your local vet can remove the matting.  Matting should not wait; it will tighten.   For safety reasons, do not attempt to remove matting with scissors or de-matting tools. Please contact another groomer for matting issues due to medical leave. 

We are committed to providing a safe, stress-free grooming experience and protecting your cat’s wellbeing. Matting causes pain and distress, and allowing it to occur is considered neglect. Severely matted cats often require veterinary clipping for their safety.
To maintain your cat’s health, we do not accept clients who repeatedly allow their cat to mat. Continued neglect will result in the refusal of future service.

Please note that we are unable to take new full-body (lion) clipping clients until April.

We require all cats over the age of 7 years to have a vet visit in the last 6 months. This helps to prevent any existing issues from arising during or after the grooming appointment.
Please add if any matting/knots are present and location.
Please note that mat removal will fix the matting problem, but a regular grooming prevention appointment is necessary for feline coat and skin health. If your cat is always matted for grooming, the cat can become aggressive for grooming. We will not groom once a year matted shave-off. (repeated neglect causes pain)
We are open school hours only Mon to Wed only by appointment. Some Thursdays. Closed public holidays.
